Oceanz PA11

Plastic

PA11 is a biobased whitish polyamide material. Compared to PA12, it offers higher elongation at break, elasticity and impact resistance. Typical applications are therefore environments where high deformations occur. In addition, the material does not splinter when broken.

Oceanz PA11 has excellent material properties:
• high elongation and impact resistance
• biocompatible according to EN ISO 10993-1

Typical applications of the material are fully functional plastic parts of the highest quality. Due to its excellent mechanical properties, the material is often used to replace typical injection molding plastics. Its biocompatibility in combination with its high elasticity and impact resistance makes it possible to use it well in the manufacture of prostheses and orthoses.

Oceanz PA11 is processed in our ISO 9001 & ISO 13485 production environment and can be stained, polished and coated.
Oceanz PA11 thus meets the new MDR requirements for prostheses and orthoses.
