Single Step Manufacturing

Because there are no or few start-up costs for 3D printing, producing a few pieces is also interesting. Certainly in comparison with other production techniques such as injection molding, for which tooling and dies are required.

Rapid Manufacturing

Because no molds or complicated writing programs are required for production, it is already possible to realize a product within a few hours with 3D printing.

Freedom of Design

Due to the layered way of building up and the simple removal of support (which sometimes is not necessary at all), it is possible to produce very complex shapes that can not be produced conventionally.

Made in Holland

Partly because of the advantage we have created, national production is a lot more interesting than outsourcing abroad. In addition, fewer physical products need to be shipped at an early stage, because digital drawings are used. This saves transport costs and makes a positive contribution to the environment.

Stock Reduction

Thanks to the fast production method, it is no longer necessary to purchase large stocks. As a result, the stock can be reduced or completely taken over by a digital stock. The advantages? Cost savings on the warehouse and flexibility when it comes to revisions of existing models.

Cost reduction

In some cases, a customer will ultimately opt for a conventional technique such as injection molding. This can also be a very logical decision. But even then 3D printing is very interesting in the start-up process. At an early stage, revisions can be made and fits are checked so that the potential failure costs are reduced.

Customization

Because digital files are used, it is very easy to implement changes. It does not matter whether, for example, an identical series or series is printed with modifications that are specific to the model (names, numbers, technical adjustments, colors etc.)

Sustainability

The technique can be called very sustainable. This is because there is virtually no ‘waste’ of material and in some techniques there is no waste stream. In addition, production can be relatively local, which benefits sustainability.

Lightweight

Because of the freedom of form that different AM techniques make possible, it can be cleverly designed. These smart designs can, for example, yield lighter end products, which in turn can result in, for example, cost savings in, for example, the aerospace.
