3D printing as a service: from file to finished part
Oceanz is a professional 3D printing company that handles the entire process: from optimizing your 3D file to printing, post-processing, and quality control of the final product. With 19 EOS SLS machines and a monthly capacity of tens of thousands of parts, we combine the flexibility of 3D printing with the delivery reliability of industrial production.
You provide a design, we take care of the rest. Our engineers provide input on material selection and manufacturability, and finishing is done in-house: shot peening, polishing, vapor polishing, and coloring. This ensures you receive a part that is immediately ready for use in your production. Inserting inserts and assembly are also among the possibilities.
From prototype to series production
At Oceanz, 3D printing is suitable for both single prototypes and repeatable series production. For series of up to approximately 1.000 units, SLS 3D printing is often more cost-effective than injection molding, as there are no mold costs and your design remains flexible.
3D printing does not replace traditional techniques; it complements them. It offers speed and freedom precisely during the development phase, when a design is not yet final. 3D printing can also prove cost-effective for larger production runs, depending on the application, material, and load. We are happy to help you determine when it is the logical choice and when it is not.
SLS, SLM and more than 10 materials
Oceanz produces using SLS (Selective Laser Sintering) for plastics and SLM (Selective Laser Melting) for metal, and offers more than 10 materials. From standard PA12 to flame-retardant and high-performance engineering plastics, and stainless steel for metal parts.
The right material choice depends on your application: mechanical load, temperature, food contact, or flame retardation. Our engineers help you choose the appropriate material.
